Protein Production
Our Protein Production Laboratory contains the following equipment:
BIAcore
The BIAcore monitors biomolecular interactions in real time, using a non-invasive optical detection principle based on surface plasmon resonance. One of the interactants is immobilized on the surface, while the other(s) is injected in continuous flow over the surface.
Experimental design is highly flexible, since interactions are measured by changes in mass concentration at the surface, independent of specific molecular properties.

BioCAD 700E Workstation
PerSeptives Biosystems' BioCAD for perfusion chromatography is a computer-aided chromatography workstation that integrates all aspects of biomolecule purification with perfusion chromatography technology. It is designed for:
- routine execution of chromatographic methods for the purification of biomolecules, and
- systematic method development to optimise conditions for a specific application.

SMART System

BioLogic LP is a low-pressure, gradient chromatography system for the purification of proteins, peptides and other biomolecules.
